The time has come ...
After three years of planning, dreaming, research and training its here!!
We are off on Wednesday for our adventure of a lifetime!
My beautiful daughter Millie and I have BIG birthdays this year.
I will be 50 and she will be 21
We watched a movie called "The Way" with Emilio Estivez and Martin Sheen
and thought - WHAT! Is this really a "thing?"
After some research and finding it is a thing we started to plan.
The Way, or Camino Santiago as its known is a religious
pilgrimage across Spain.
It is the way of St James, after St James was beheaded his
body was carried across
the path we will walk and his final resting place was in Santiago Spain.
So, my friends we are going to do this!
Walk the entire 800 kms!
